Fan Index: Alabama has the best offense  4 Months ago

Source:   USA Today

The votes have been counted, and the top team in the nation ran away with this week's #FanIndex poll. The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide have the best offense in the country according to voters, and the results weren't particularly close.

There's good reason for that - Alabama is scoring an absurd 56 points per game, nearly a full touchdown more than the second-highest scoring offense in the country, Utah State at 50.2. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is a runaway Heisman favorite despite being pulled from games early in blowouts.

Tune in to the Ohio State - Minnesota game on FS1 Saturday at 12:00 ET to learn next week's theme.

To make sure your team wins next week's category, vote using your Twitter, Instagram or Facebook account. To ensure your vote counts, a few rules you must follow:

You must include #FanIndex and the proper #TeamName

- On Twitter & Instagram: You can cast votes in a new, public post

- On Facebook: You can cast votes in the comments of a For The Win, USA TODAY Sports, or USA TODAY Fan Index post
